i visited PISA for the second time
boy, things have certainly changed
they're renovating the outdoor area
i almost lost my way going in
PC Fair was okay, nothing surprising as I've been to Higher Education Fair in USM, the way they set things up is about the same
i saw many many items on sale
i was thinking of getting an MP3 player, I approach a salesman and asked, what's your brand?
he took a few seconds to think before answering, "it's just called an MP3 (sold at RM19.90)
it's way too cheap for a good quality MP3...my 1st MP3 player that i got in 2007 was RM149, it's still working but the speaker is spoiled)
some of the shops paraded their pendrives in fish tanks...it is supposed to be waterproof...I wonder if its washing machine proof...
and there's this brand called PNY (what brand is this?) selling thumb drives , I'm like thinking, I'm living in stone age, looking for 2GB Kingston thumb drives
why I'd opt for 2GB is the smaller the capacity, the easier it is to use the thumb drives in Stagea
well, I got three 4GB pendrives (Kingston, Kingmax, PNY) and I had to really open my little eyes for the words 4GB (most of it were 8GB and above)
the fair was divided into three areas - Computer, Cameras and Speaker, Food and Beverages, and Banks Companies.
walking into the Computer section wasn't scary, if you do not wish to take their flyers you may wave your hand, nod and say thank you
Food section people will just look at you
BUT the bank and insurance agents haunt me most
They're right at the EXIT and I have to wave down many many salesmen
and the last one almost caught me (the person in front of me was walking slowly)
I have to politely say no no, wave wave, not interested, really not interested before I escape
this is the end of my PC Fair visit, I may never go again (until my pendrives go missing again)
