I have a transfer student from a male teacher. Mom prefers a lady teacher thus passed to me.
When I interviewed the six year old kid, she said she enjoyed the other teacher's lesson

When I was in second grade, my class teacher was a male teacher. We girls absolutely loved him with his charming ways. As they always say, people love the opposite gender more.

When I was in kindergarten, my best friend was a boy, we acted like boyfriend and girlfriend.
Everyone knew about us and no one pull us apart. I guess it's healthy just to have some boys as good friends.
My three year old class is preparing for their concert at the end of the month. While lining them up, this little boy kept holding another girl's hand. Kids reaction, little girl pulled away, sweet =)
I wonder whether children will have their freedom of thinking......i understand that the mom is not comfortable with a male teacher teaching her daughter but you can't choose who your class teacher will be when you are in primary school.
